A Map of Fraser Island

The visitors map of Fraser Island - A World Heritage Island.
The best value map produced and printed in Queensland.

Fraser Island, situated adjacent to Hervey Bay, Queensland is the largest sand island in the world.

Fraser Island, named after shipwreck victim Eliza Fraser this World Heritage listed sub tropical island has a truly amazing array of natural wonders including beautiful rainforests, pristine lakes, endless surf beaches, immense sand blows, cliffs of coloured sands, crystal clear streams and vast stretches of mangroves.

Driving around the island in your 4WD can be a little difficult at times and having a map to guide you does help enjoy this amazing environment. There are no sealed roads as such on Fraser - only sand tracks.

The distances by "road" on the island can be difficult to appreciate as navigating the internal sand tracks can only be done slowly. Please allow plenty of time to travel any distance on Fraser Island.
