At 1,680 metres and located within a protected snow bowl, Smiggin Holes is regarded as one of the best beginners' resorts on the Australian ski fields, with 9 ski lifts for beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders, including Zoe's Carpet for the Kids. It is interconnected
with other resorts such as Perisher Valley, Guthega and Blue Cow, and is considered a family-friendly retreat.

The Smiggins Centre has a great range of services including cafes, resort wear, ski and board tuning, souvenir shops and same day photography. 3rd Perisher Snowy Mountains of Music Festival 10 -13 June Perisher celebrates its opening weekend with a vibrant 3 day event full of live music, dancing, poetry plus heaps of music and activities for the kids.

The Festival provides a great opportunity to soak up the sounds of world, folk, roots, blues and traditional music in a unique alpine atmosphere. Plus, Perisher?s recent investment of over $19 million dollars in snowmaking equipment to help Mother Nature along ensures some great skiing and boarding over the weekend
