Alpenhorn is Thredbo's Friendly Lodge. Renovated rooms and friendly staff set the scene for an enjoyable, affordable holiday staying in the heart of the village.

Alpenhorn Lodge caters for all kinds of guests ranging from solo travellers to families and special interest groups.

The bar & restaurant were the talk of the town last season and the same high standards will continue. To maximise your skiing time, luggage storage and guest change facilities are available on arrival and departure days.

Upgraded rooms provide a warm and comfortable retreat offering ensuite bathrooms, radio, TV and in-house video, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. Boot and ski storage /drying room are also available for guests.

Family rooms comprise a Queen/twin plus full size bunks.

For large family we would offer the family unit with separate bedrooms and lounge, or a four bunk room for the kids and a separate room for the parents.

In the summer the place to be at Alpenhorn is the BBQ courtyard. It is a popular place to meet or to relax and read. There is also a beautiful stream next to the lodge with a grassy bank for those who want a shady spot to relax and unwind.
