Highlights: - Simpsons Gap - Standley Chasm - Desert Park

Travel west from Alice Springs following the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges. Our first stop is at Simpsons Gap with its beautiful red gums. Continue to Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Walk along the stony watercourse lined with cycads, ghost gums, cypress pines and acacias. A light lunch will be provided before you depart for Alice Springs Desert Park. Explore the desert rivers, sand country and woodland habitats and discover many of the secrets of the Central Australian deserts. Visit the Nocturnal House and witness free-flying birds of prey in the nature theatre at the Birds of Prey Presentation. Afterwards you will be transferred back to Alice Springs. L
