Itinerary

Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport before 1.00 p.m. and transfer to Ayers Rock Resort. Enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, a region that has been inhabited for the past 22,000 years by the Anangu people. Visit the Cultural Centre, take a walk to the waterhole of Mutitjulu. Then join the guided Mala Walk, visiting traditional art sites and learning of the region's geology and flora. Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while you watch the sunrise at Uluru. Travel to the western section of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to the immense 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. This afternoon, travel to the spectacular Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park.
Day 3. Kings Canyon, Alice SpringsStay: Alice Springs - Comfort Outback Inn (Budget), All Seasons Oasis

This morning travel to the remarkable formation of Kings Canyon where you have a choice of guided walks. The rim walk takes you to the canyon rim and through the Lost City to the Garden of Eden (requires a good degree of fitness). The easier canyon floor walk takes you deep into the canyon between the towering orange walls. This afternoon travel to Alice Springs, stopping at Kings Creek Station, an outback cattle property.
Day 4. Alice Springs at LeisureEnjoy time this morning for one of our optional activities. Transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
