Itinerary

Day 1.
Ayers Rock Resort, Base Tour, Mala Walk, Cultural Centre, Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset
Two Night Stay: Ayers Rock Resort - Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget, shared facilities), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens (First-Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe)

Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport before 1.00 p.m. and transfer to your hotel. Visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Join a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. Then join the Mala Walk, touring the base of Uluru. See caves, ancient Aboriginal rock art and enter sacred Kantju Gorge. Late this afternoon, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as you admire the spectacular colours of Uluru at sunset. Tonight perhaps enjoy the Uluru Aussie Barbecue (Additional charge. Day 2.
Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa (Olga) Gorge, Guided Kuniya Sunset Tour

With a cup of tea or coffee in hand, watch the sun's first rays at Uluru. Travel to Kata Tjuta, 36 dramatic rock formations that dominate the western skyline. Enjoy a walk into Walpa Gorge and hear about the unique flora, fauna and geology of the area. This afternoon, join a local guide for the Kuniya Walk. Hear about the Kuniya Python Woman and learn about bush foods.

Day 3.
Ayers Rock Resort, Kings Canyon

Day 4.
Kings Canyon Rim Walk, Alice Springs

Enjoy a guided walk to the rim of Kings Canyon through the Lost City, then into the Garden of Eden. Or take an easier walk along the canyon floor that leads you deep into the canyon. Stop at Kings Creek Station en route to Alice Springs, arriving at 6.30 p.m.
