Itinerary

Day 1.
Darwin
Four Night Stay: Darwin - Travelodge Mirambeena Resort, Motel Room (Budget), Travelodge Mirambeena Resort, Standard Room (Standard), Novotel Atrium or Mantra Pandanas (First-Class)

Be welcomed at Darwin Airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure.

Day 2.
Kakadu, Yellow Water Billabong Cruise

Travel into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park where there is time for a scenic flight (own expense). Visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre then join a guided cruise on Yellow Water billabong, looking out for Kakadu's wildlife including crocodiles. After lunch, visit Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal rock art. Stop at Window on the Wetlands for a complimentary glass of wine while enjoying the views over the floodplains. Alternative (May-Nov.): Substitute Day 2 with Ubirr and Guluyambi Tour (KUK5 - no extra cost). Lx1

Day 3.
Katherine Gorge Cruise, Leliyn (Edith Falls)

Visit the Adelaide River War Cemetery, continuing via Pine Creek to Nitmiluk National Park, home to 13 stunning gorges. Call into the Visitors Centre before joining your guided cruise between the sheer sandstone cliffs of Katherine Gorge. As you glide along the tranquil waters, your guide will detail the area's plants and wildlife. Stop at beautiful Leliyn and perhaps take a refreshing swim in the pool at the bottom of the falls (conditions permitting). Return to Darwin. Lx1

Day 4.
Litchfield National Park, Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls, Wangi Falls

Tour in to the picturesque landscapes of Litchfield National Park, a stunning 146,000 hectare region of pristine Top End wilderness. Climb and admire the rocky Tabletop Range, where dry woodlands and forests dominate the huge sandstone plateau. View the magnetic termite mounds. See the double waterfall that forms Florence Falls and visit Tolmer Falls. Stop for lunch (own expense) before continuing to stunning Wangi Falls for a swim (conditions permitting) or a nature walk to the top of the falls.

Day 5.
Darwin

Enjoy some free time to further explore Darwin before your transfer to the airport.
