Be welcomed on arrival in Darwin and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. You might like to relax by the pool or do some souvenir shopping.
Day 2. World Heritage Kakadu National Park, Yellow Water Wildlife Cruise, Nourlangie RockStay: Kakadu National Park - Aurora Kakadu, Standard Room (Budget),

This morning travel across the Marrakai Plains and into Kakadu National Park, inscribed on the World Heritage List for both outstanding cultural and natural values. Continue to Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to gain a greater understanding of the rich Aboriginal culture and their long association with the park. Join your guided boat cruise on the waters of Yellow Water billabong, Kakadu's most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for crocodiles and the park's abundance of birds, including jabirus, brolgas and sea eagles. Visit the art site of Nourlangie Rock and view the unique galleries of Aboriginal rock paintings. These x-ray style works provide a fascinating insight into the region's history. Lx1

This morning there's time for an optional flight (own expense). View ancient rock art at Ubirr, then cruise the East Alligator River with an Aboriginal guide before walking into Arnhem Land. Day 4. Litchfield, Wangi Falls, Florence FallsEnter Litchfield National Park where dry woodlands dominate the sandstone plateau. View magnetic termite mounds. See the double waterfall forming Florence Falls before viewing Tolmer Falls. Stop for lunch (own expense) then continue to Wangi Falls for a swim (conditions permitting).
Day 5. DarwinEnjoy free time this morning before your transfer to Darwin Airport or the railway station.
