With Balloons Above enjoy a unique morning's adventure in the Lockyer Valley coupled with genuine country hospitality.

Balloons Above has been operating since 1984. Chief Pilot Jason Harm has over 30 years local knowledge and more than 13 years hot air ballooning experience.

We meet at first light and travel a short distance to our launch site where you are welcome to be part of the crew and assist with the inflation of this majestic, gentle giant.

Climb aboard and experience the magic and tranquility of cruising the skies over the beautiful Lockyer Valley. The Great Dividing Range to the west, below the exquisite patchwork quilt effect of the farms, lakes and dams. Your flight takes you over some of the most picturesque country in Australia.

After your morning's adventure waits a superb chicken and champagne French style brunch.

What to wear: Light, casual clothes similar to hiking. Sunglasses, a cap, walking shoes or joggers and in winter, a jacket may be required. White clothing is not recommended.

What to bring: A camera and money for souvenirs.

Meeting Times:
Summer 4.30 am
Autumn 5.30 am
Winter 6.00 am
Spring 5.00 am

However, we ask all our passengers to call us between 7.30 pm and 8 pm the evening prior to their flights to confirm their meeting times and that we have favourable flying conditions.

Directions:
45 minutes west of Brisbane on the Warrego Highway heading towards Toowoomba or 45minutes east of Toowoomba. Meeting at the Fairway Tavern and Golf Club, Fairway Drive Hatton Vale QLD 4341

Costs:
Standard   $ 295 per person any day of the week
Group Discount: available at request for 4 or more    10% for a booking of 4 or more Passengers 

Gift Vouchers (valid 12 months) from $ 295 per person

Children (aged 8 - 12 yrs) $ 265 per child
 
Inner City Brisbane pickup
