Portal Suite
If
you need to call Brisbane home for a few days the Portal Suite is for
you. These rooms boast our standard inclusions as well as a
self-contained kitchen with dishwasher, cooktop, microwave/convection
oven, a lounge chair with a 42″ plazma and an ensuite with bathtub to
soak in.
Special Needs Room
For
guests with limited mobility or requiring wheelchair access, our
Special Needs rooms have been designed to specifically meet your needs
whilst delivering all the standard inclusions plus hand rails and remote
controlled lighting and airconditioning.

On Foot Head down George Street and check out the Queen Street Mall, for the main Shopping District - with stores like David Jones and Myer to satisfy even the biggest shopaholics and plenty of little souvenir stores for those last minute gifts. Go across the Victoria Bridge to South Bank, for museums, swimming, cheap movies and a range of shops and cafes.
Ask reception staff to point out the loop walk you can do to get the most of an afternoon in Brisbane. By Boat Explore the city by river on board the City Cat, jump on at North Quay - sit back and enjoy the ride and the view and catch some sun.
Some stops to jump off and explore are:
* South Bank - for the parklands, museums, shops and cafes.
* Riverside- for bars, restaurants and the Sunday Markets
* New farm Park - relax in the park, watch movies outdoors in the moonlight or check out the Powerhouse Restaurant and bar.

By Bus Take a City Sights tour from Roma Street. This takes you to various Landmarks in and around the city centre, including the Mt Cootha lookout and Southbank. Hop on and off as you please.

The O Bar & Restaurant is located on the ground floor in the Portal Hotel and offers a fresh change to the Brisbane Restaurant/Bar scene. New Management previously from The Gunshop Cafe and Head Chef of Brassiere Blanc, Cheltenham UK have created an ever evolving menu, using local produce sourced daily from Brisbane Markets.
Offering unique a la carte breakfast selections, a lunch menu which changes daily and in the evenings enjoy a fine dining atmosphere. The O Bar and Restaurant maintains a more relaxed environment throughout...and the coffee is second to none!
