Mission Beach's only absolute beachfront resort, Castaways Resort & Spa, has unveiled a stunning multi-million-dollar redevelopment with the brand new Bibesia Beach Club as its centrepiece.

The resort has been transformed into a beachfront beauty offering a selection of newly-refurbished, stylish and luxurious accommodation options, Mission Beach's first day spa, and transformed leisure facilities including a new beachfront dining, bar and pool area metres from the turquoise waters of the Coral Sea.

The resort's Bibesia Beach Club centres around inter-connecting pools, including a 25 metre lap pool, all surrounded by stylish timber decking and recliners perfect for poolside lounging. Guests can relax with a cocktail and watch the Blo-Karts in action and the tandem sky divers land on the beach directly in front of Castaways.

Castaways new restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner all served within just metres of the resort's lawn which rolls down to the sea. Michelin-star trained Neil Phillips and Serena Fedeli are serving up bistro-style food, with an emphasis on freshness and seasonality.

The resort's reception, porte cochere, car park and tour desk areas have also been completely upgraded.

With the Great Barrier Reef, the Coral Sea, World Heritage rainforest and islands on its doorstep, Castaways is a great base for exploring Mission Beach. Guests can join resort staff on a daily 7am run on a 3.5km oceanfront and rainforest circuit and the resort can also organise a range of adventure activities including diving, snorkelling, white water rafting, heli tours, kayaking, sky diving and an island picnic tour aboard an amphibious marine craft 'Sealegs'.
