Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge runs a program of activities for you, like interpretive walks in the National Park, (we offer guided tours at an additional cost upon request- these are subject to minimum numbers and the tour guides (there is only one) availability) escorted by fully qualified guides who will show you such wonders as (we offer a half day tour to the Moss Garden or a full day tour to the Art Gallery and Moss Garden) the Moss Garden - a cool side gorge carpeted with moss and brought to life by a magical waterfall; or the Art Gallery - home to 3,600 years of Aboriginal artistic genius; you may see Ward's Canyon - filled with ancient King ferns; and there's the Amphitheatre - a massive rock crevice that resounds with uncanny, natural acoustics. (Note: we do not offer a guided tour to Wards Canyon)

Tucked away in the verdant landscape, the luxury timber and canvas safari-style cabins are designed to blend harmoniously with nature. In fact, Oasis Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge has been awarded advanced eco-accreditation by the Eco-tourism Association of Australia, which identifies the Lodge as a genuine eco-tourism operator and provider of quality eco-tourism experiences. The Lodge features extensive leisure facilities, like Squatters Restaurant, overlooking the landscaped grounds. Relaxed dining is available inside or out, with broad decks that are perfect for watching the wildlife. After a day's trekking, you'll enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or a soothing therapeutic massage.

And, as the sun sets, you can join fellow guests at the Oasis Bar, to reminisce about the day's events.

Meals are generally served in the Squatters Dining Room, though you can also dine in five thousand star style, under the clear western sky.

From April to early January, the Lodge's qualified outdoor and naturalist staff run a full daily program of guided walks, outdoor activities and nightly entertainment. Special children's programs are offered during school holidays.
