Ashmore Palms has a range of quality holiday cabins to suit all budgets. Starting with the budget priced Holiday Villas and ranging up to the latest, and most up-market, cabin style - the luxurious Rainforest Retreats. All cabins are fully self-contained with a host of attractive features and can sleep up to five guests (some cabin styles can sleep up to six guests).
The Village boasts extensive facilities including a large swimming lagoon with a waterfall, mushroom lagoon with a shallow swim area, adventure playground, barbecues, picnic areas, 7-day holiday reception, convenience store, tour desk, full size tennis court, internet booth, guest laundries, garden walkways, feature gardens and Australia's largest collection of South American Macaw Parrots.
Ashmore Palms runs free weekly activities for its holiday guests including: kids' games, craft, and face painting; photos with the birds; and a courtesy shuttle service to select locations.
The relaxed, resort-style atmosphere at Ashmore Palms is a refreshing alternative to the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise, while the Village's central location means that guests are only a short drive from the Gold Coast's most popular attractions including the theme parks, shopping centres and white sandy beaches.

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village is set on 14.5 acres, complete with lush gardens, internal roadways, holiday cabins and extensive facilities.
The facilities, designed with 'family friendly fun' in mind, include:

Your holiday at Ashmore Palms can be as action-packed or as relaxed as you choose!
Upon arrival at the Village, you will receive a complimentary postcard, Holiday Fun Book for each child and an Activities Calendar detailing the week's activities. The best part is that all of the scheduled activities at Ashmore Palms are free!
Ashmore Palms runs regular weekly program of kids' games, kids' craft, face painting and photos with the birds and Macca Macaw (Ashmore Palms cuddly mascot) and Morning Tea with the Macaws. On weekday mornings (excluding public holidays), guests can join the Bird keeper to feed the Australian native birds.
Ashmore Palms also runs a free shuttle service to Surfers Paradise and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre once per week, a weekly 'shopping shuttle' to Harbour Town Shopping Centre (great for outlet shopping), and a night transfer to Surfers Paradise. These services are run on set days, once per week. Transfers times are detailed in Ashmore Palms' Activities Calendar, issued on arrival.

Holiday Villa -
The Holiday Villa is a compact, yet comfortable, 2-bedroom cabin. These self contained holiday cabins are popular with guests seeking quality , budget accommodation. Suitable for couples, school groups and small families. The Holiday Villa sleep up to 5 guests, but are recommended for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Hibiscus Chalet -
A slightly larger floorplan than the Holiday Villas, the Hibiscus Chalets also offer comfort at a reasonable price. The compact Hibiscus Chalets are suitable for couples and small families. They sleep up to 5 guests but are recommended for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Budget Family Villa -
With a larger floorplan than the Hibiscus Chalets and featuring 3 bedrooms, the Budget Family Villas sleep up to 6 guests. They are recommended for up to 3 adults and 3 children or 2 adults and 4 children. The Budget Family Villas are popular with adult sporting groups and families travelling with a grandparent. Air-conditioning is included.
Classic Family Villa -
The Classic Family Villas also feature 3 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 guests. They are a slightly more upmarket version of the Classic Family Villa, recommended for up to 2 adults and 4 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Palm Cottage -
The Palm Cottages are Ashmore Palms' middle-of-the-range cabin style, ideal if you are looking for comfortable accommodation for up to 5 guests. These cabins have 2 bedrooms and are recommended for up to 3 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Cactus Cabana -
The Cactus Cabanas are the first of Ashmore Palms' rendered finish cabins. These cabins have 2 bedrooms, carport parking (ideal for those on car rallies), a cute cactus theme throughout and sleep up to 5 guests. They are recommended for up to 2 adults and 3 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Lorikeet Lodge -
The Lorikeet Lodges also have a rendered finish, 2 bedrooms and carport parking. These comfortable 2 bedroom cabins also feature ramp access, to make accessibility easier for guests with infants in strollers or prams, special needs guests (with the assistance of a carer or family member) or guests seeking accommodation without stairs. The Lorikeet Lodges sleep up to 5 guests and are recommended for up to 2 adults and 3 children or 3 adults and 2 children. Air-conditioning is included.
Macaw Mansion -
The 2-storey Macaw Mansions are ideally located close to the swimming lagoons and feature a kids' bedroom and parents retreat. Sleeping up to 6 guests, the Macaw Mansions are ideal for larger families. They are recommended for up to 2 adults and 4 children. A major drawcard of this cabin type is the parents' retreat on the upper level, complete with a king size bed, balcony, stereo and ensuite with spa bath. Air-conditioning is included.
Rainforest Retreat -
The Rainforest Retreats are the most luxurious holiday cabin style at Ashmore Palms with a load of appointments which include a private barbecue, beautifully appointed kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. These cabins have 2 bedrooms and are recommended for up to 2 adults and 4 children. Air-conditioning is included.

Each cabin type has a different minimum stay, depending on the season in which you are planning to holiday. Those cabins with air-conditioning included have press button timers on the air-conditioning units.
Conditions apply to group reservations. The maximum number of occupants is lower for each cabin type for group reservations, as group members must be allocated separate beds. Different minimum stays also apply for group reservations. Group rates are available upon application.

The Village is ideally located, a short 10 to 15 minute drive from most of the major Gold Coast attractions, and central to shopping centres, markets, transport and other tourist attractions. Major Attractions The Gold Coast's major theme parks include Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet 'n' Wild Water World, Dreamworld and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Driving to the theme parks from Ashmore Palms is quick and easy. Alternatively, the Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle runs daily transfers from Ashmore Palms to these worlds on a daily basis, with affordable packages available. Local Shopping The Gold Coast is also host to an array of shopping alternatives, including the popular Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, outlet shopping at Harbour Town Shopping Centre, Westfield Helensvale, Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Carrara Markets, Surfers Paradise Night Markets and endless duty free shopping. Ashmore Palms' courtesy shuttle runs to some of these shopping options, for your convenience. Other Things to Do For a great night out, you can't go past Australian Outback Spectacular, the latest stage show at Conrad Jupiter's Casino or the cheeky Dracula's Cabaret Show. There's also many restaurants within a short drive of Ashmore Palms. For an outing with a difference, you could take a surf lesson at one of the many beaches, enjoy breakfast at a Surf Club or take an early morning hot air balloon flight. If you decide to venture a little further, a relaxed drive down the coastline will take you to Byron Bay, a scenic drive up the mountains to the west will take you to Mount Tamborine and Binna Burra, or a drive to the north will take you to the sites of Brisbane City.
1. Heading South from Brisbane on the Pacific Motorway (M1) Take exit 66 off the Pacific Motorway (M1). This is the Smith Street Motorway exit (Route 10) which heads towards Southport. Do NOT take the Gaven Exit. Continue straight ahead along the Smith Street Motorway and then take the Olsen Avenue (Labrador/Southport) exit, which is Route 4. Turn right immediately at the lights onto Olsen Avenue (Route 4). Follow for 1.4km and then turn left onto Nerang-Southport Road (Route 20) towards Southport. Follow for 600m and turn right at the roundabout into Hinde Street. Ashmore Palms is located at the end of Hinde Street. 2. Heading North from Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) Turn left from Gold Coast Airport onto the Gold Coast Highway. Stay in the left lane. Turn left onto the Brisbane - Pacific Highway exit. Stay in the right lane and turn right at the lights to join the Pacific Motorway (M1). Take exit 69 off the Pacific Motorway (Nerang North exit). Follow route 20, turning left onto Nerang Connection Road and then turn left after 700m onto Price Street which becomes Southport-Nerang Road. Follow Southport-Nerang Road for approximately 5.5km. Turn right into Hinde Street at the large roundabout near Sunshine Ford. Ashmore Palms is located at the end of Hinde Street. 3. Heading West from Southport Follow Southport-Nerang Road west for approximately 3.5km. Turn left into Hinde Street at the large roundabout near Sunshine Ford. Ashmore Palms is located at the end of Hinde Street. 4. Heading East from Nerang Follow Southport-Nerang Road east for approximately 6km. Turn right into Hinde Street at the large roundabout near Sunshine Ford. Ashmore Palms is located at the end of Hinde Street. 5. Heading North from Surfers Paradise Drive through Surfers Paradise and head north towards Southport. Drive over the Gold Coast bridge and turn left at the first set of lights onto Ada Bell Way (Route 20), which becomes Queen Street. Follow past Allamanda Hospital and then turn left at the lights onto Southport-Nerang Road. Follow for 3km and turn left into Hinde Street at the roundabout near Sunshine Ford. 6. Heading south from Brisbane Airport to Ashmore Palms. If you are driving to Ashmore Palms from Brisbane Airport, head east along Airport Drive towards the Gateway Motorway. Turn left onto the Gateway Motorway to head south. Follow the Gateway Motorway over the Gateway Bridge, still heading south. Ensure to have a few dollars for the toll. Take the Pacific Motorway (M1) exit, to head south towards the Gold Coast. Take exit 69 off the Pacific Motorway. Follow Nerang-Southport Road east for approximately 5km. Turn right at the roundabout (near Sunshine Ford) into Hinde Street. Ashmore Palms is at the end of Hinde Street.
