Stonewell Cottages, a boutique waterfront vineyard retreat offers peace and privacy, seclusion and space in the heart of the Barossa, just 60 minutes from Adelaide. Enjoy serene water views, still tranquil evenings and stunning vineyard sunsets. The three waterfront vineyard cottages feature cosy wood fires, comfy king beds and luxury candlelit spas.

The Haven Spa Retreats, the Hideaway Cottage and Cupid's Cottage are hidden away amongst the vines of Stonewell Vineyards, a 103 acre (42ha) vineyard property, overlooking a picturesque, private lake. Just a short drive from Tanunda, it is a tranquil world away from stress and hectic schedules, the ideal place to escape and rejuvenate.

Sleep amid the vines, wake up to a long, lazy breakfast to the serenade of the birds. Unwind in your candlelit spa, de-stress with an indulgent in-room massage. The Haven Cottage (Haven Spa Retreat 1 and 2)
The Haven Cottage overlooks the lake & consists of 2 retreats within the same building - each retreat has own private facilities: spa room with huge 2 person spa, queen bed, lounge/kitchen with cosy wood fire, air-con, LCD TV, DVD, CD stereo/ipod dock, private courtyard with BBQ, outdoor setting, sunlounges, rowing on lake. Max 2 adults in each retreat. Children & infants cannot be accommodated in this room type.

Hideaway Cottage
Charming 2 bedroom cottage on water's edge. 2p spa, king beds, lounge with cosy wood fire, air-con, LCD TV, DVD, CD stereo/ipod dock, stylish new kitchen with granite benchtops, Miele appliances, courtyard with BBQ, outdoor setting, sunlounges, rowing on lake. Rate is for 2 adults in 1 bedroom. (For 2 adults with use of both bedrooms $25/nt surcharge applies) Extra adults @ $95pp/nt. By special request at time of booking children can be accommodated in the Hideaway only. Infants <2yrs @ $25/nt (cot provided) Children 2-12yrs @ full adult rate. Cupid's Cottage
Private & secluded 1 bedroom cottage overlooking lake. Sunken 2p spa, king bed, lounge with cosy wood fire, air-con, LCD TV, DVD, CD stereo/ipod dock, stylish new kitchen with granite benchtops, Miele appliances, courtyard with BBQ, outdoor setting, sunlounges, rowing on lake. Max 2 adults. Children & infants cannot be accommodated in this room type.

Booking terms & conditions.

WEEKEND BOOKINGS - No check-in/out possible on Saturdays. A minimum 2 NIGHT booking of BOTH FRI & SAT NTS BOOKED TOGETHER is required on ALL weekends. Note - If you book just the Sat nt, you will also be charged for the Fri nt. If you make a 2nt booking of Sat & Sun nts you will also be charged for the Fri nt. If you make a 2nt booking of Thur & Fri nts you will also be charged for the Sat nt.

LONG WEEKEND BOOKINGS - A minimum 3 night booking of Fri, Sat & Sun nts is required on all long weekends.

CHILDREN POLICY: Our aim is to provide a peaceful escape for couples only. Stonewell Cottages is NOT a family holiday destination. Children & infants strictly not permitted in Haven Spa Retreats & Cupids. By special request at time of booking children can be accommodated in Hideaway only. Infants <2yrs @ $25/nt (cot provided) Children 2-12yrs @ full adult rate. You must contact us by ph/email to request this prior to proceeding with your booking.

EXTRA GUESTS: No extra guests permitted, there are no sofa beds or extra roll-away beds available. Rate for Hideaway is for 1 couple with use of 1 bedroom. A $25/nt surcharge applies for use of both bedrooms for 1 couple or 2 single people. Two, three and four person rates apply for the Hideaway and must be booked accordingly before arrival.

EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT - Check-in from 3pm. Check-out by 11am. Early check-in/late check-out can be requested prior to arrival @ $10/hr.

Check-in procedure:
Arrival from 3pm onwards. There is no onsite reception - guests must phone Stonewell Cottages 24 hours prior to arrival to obtain personal door security code to access the cottage. Ph: 0417 848 977. Guests will be required to provide credit card details as security. There are no land-line phones in the cottages. We advise you to bring your mobile/cell phone.
