All function areas available at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel are part of our new Stage II development. The range of options now available is without equal in Hobart. From boardrooms and large function rooms to the outdoor courtyard, we provide full catering for groups of between 5 and 180.

Exclusive to The Old Woolstore is the fantastic Woolstore Theatrette. Featuring the latest in audio-visual equipment, the 100-seat Theatrette provides the perfect venue for the presentation of detailed or complicated information. It is ideal for holding meetings for such purposes as seminars, AGMs, training sessions and particularly the presentation of videos, DVDs or audio tracks.

Two boardrooms are available for more intimate meetings, and The Merino Room is a large meeting room that divides into two smaller breakout or meeting rooms. The outdoor courtyard is ideal for cocktail parties or casual drinks (weather permitting)! We welcome you to select the options that suit your specific requirements for a day or a week!

The Woolstore Theatrette
Unique in the Hobart market, our new theatrette (84m2) provides an awesome audio-visual experience with the latest in presentation technology. We offer full catering for groups using the climate-controlled Theatrette.

Featuring individual, swing pallet Sebel Encore seating, remote controls and P.C. compatibility, our Theatrette represents the future in comfortable and clear information presentation. You will project a professional, contemporary image when using this facility to educate and inform staff, clients, colleagues or friends. The use of The Woolstore Theatrette is limited only by your imagination!

Boardrooms
The Roberts Boardroom (36m2) is a 16-seat, dedicated boardroom featuring comfortable, black leather seating, presentation technology and full catering.
The Drovers Boardroom (48m2) is a 20-seat, flexible boardroom that may also set up for alternative seating configurations. This room is also available for use as a breakout room for larger meetings.

Function Rooms
The Merino Room (218m2) is the largest of our new meeting and conference rooms, able to cater for up to 180 people for dinner or around 200 for a cocktail party. The Merino Room features its' own bar service area, access for vehicles and infrastructure for decorating or theming. It can be divided in half by a soundproof concertina door creating two approximately equal sized rooms.

The Shearers Room (116m2) is the second half of The Merino Room, once divided. Each room when divided is suitable for seating 60 people for dinner or around 120 for a cocktail party.

Outdoor Courtyard
Located next to our foyer and theatrette, the outdoor courtyard (64m2) is ideal for breakouts, cocktail parties, casual drinks, outdoor dining and a range of other activities (weather permitting).
