East Kimberley Tours 2 Day Bungle Bungle and Diamond Mine Tour

A 2 Day Tours combining The Bungle Bungles and a Diamond Mine with scenic flights.

Departs: Kununurra at 10.00am
Returns: to Kununurra approx 5.00pm on Day 2.

DAY 1: This morning your scenic flight will take you over the mighty Ord River, the Ord River Irrigation Scheme, Lake Argyle and then land you at the Argyle Diamond Mine, the worlds largest single producer of diamonds. Begin with an informative Mine Tour on the diamond production process and see some of the famous Argyle Diamonds on display. You will be catered for with an excellent lunch and refreshments at Argyle's staff village.

Rejoin your scenic flight over the Osmond Ranges and orbit the Bungle Bungle Range to arrive at the Bungle Bungle Bush camp in time for afternoon tea.

Relax in your cabin or enjoy the sun set on another beautiful Kimberley day before a scrumptious home cooked meal at 7pm.


DAY 2: Enjoy a continental or cooked breakfast on day two before setting off to explore Echidna Chasm. Let our guides entertain you with their knowledge of the Bungle Bungle history and the Devonian era while you travel to and from the Northern Gorges and answer any questions you may have during your hike into this amazing crevice.

Stop in at the camp once again for a delicious buffet lunch before heading to the Southern end of the park to explore the famous icons of the Bungle Bungle, the Beehive Domes and Cathedral Gorge.

Reboard your aircraft at 3.45pm and enjoy your scenic flight over the North western Bungle Bungle, the Argyle Diamond mine and the Ragged Ranges.

Easy to moderate 3km return walk into Cathedral Gorge via the Beehive Domes

Inclusions:
Beds and linen in twin share tented cabins. Towels, hot showers, comfortable dining facility, all meals, 2 nights in our Bellburn Camp. All touring and flights.

Bring:
Torch, small water bottle, toiletries, camera and plenty of film, medication if required, small soft carry bag with limited clothing weighing no more than 8kg.

Wear:
Hat, joggers or rubber soled boots, sunscreen in the hotter months, light clothing, cotton or cotton mix is best.
