Your adventure begins when you board a scenic flight into Purnululu National Park for two days of exploration. Then, fly to El Questro Wilderness Park and enjoy some real Kimberley hospitality before journeying by road to Kununurra.

Itinerary

Day 1.

Kununurra
Stay: All Seasons Hotel, Kununurra

Arrive in Kununurra and spend the day at leisure exploring this picturesque town on your own. Perhaps visit nearby Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the Southern Hemisphere (own expense).

Day 2.
Bungle Bungle Domes, Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Creek, Scenic Flight
Two Night Stay: EXCLUSIVE! Stay in tented cabins with private ensuites at Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge, Purnululu National Park

Depart Kununurra this morning aboard our scenic flight to World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, home to the Bungle Bungle Range. Walk into Cathedral Gorge and after lunch enjoy a guided walk along Piccaninny Creek and inspect the domes up close. A guide will bring the history of these unique structures to life as well as the Aboriginal cultural significance of the area. Take an optional helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungle Range this afternoon (own expense). Lx1 Dx1

Day 3.
Echidna Chasm, Mini Palms Gorge

Walk to Echidna Chasm - created by millions of wet season rains, the chasm can often be as little as a metre in width. Next, walk to pretty Mini Palms Gorge for an afternoon of exploration. Bx1 Lx1 Dx1

Day 4.
Scenic Flight to El Questro
Two Night Stay: Enjoy staying in tented cabins at Emma Gorge Resort, El Questro

Early this morning we fly to El Questro Station and Wilderness Park in the heart of the Kimberley. Encompassing a million acres, El Questro is one of the Kimberley's unspoilt frontiers. Perhaps hike into Emma Gorge for a swim under the droplet waterfall or soak in the thermal pools of Zebedee Springs, surrounded by lush ferns and palms (own expense). Bx1

Day 5.
El Questro at leisure

Today discover the highlights of El Questro at your leisure. Perhaps join the Chamberlain Gorge cruise along a 3 kilometre fresh waterhole bound by diverse flora and fauna and dwarfed by the escarpment. Or, join a ranger-guided horseback tour, a great way to observe all kinds of Kimberley wildlife (own expense).

Day 6.
Farewell El Questro, Kununurra

This morning farewell El Questro Station and travel down the Gibb River Road to Kununurra where your tour concludes upon arrival.
