On this 15 Day tour you will be shown the wonders of the Gorge Country of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Touring through six national parks, you'll see the unique natural features of these regions. Visit Hamersley Gorge, stay on Cable Beach, see ancient fossils at Windjana Gorge, cruise Fitzroy and Ord Rivers, marvel at rare pink diamonds, explore El Questro Wilderness Park and see Katherine Gorge on a memorable breakfast cruise.

Day 1 Thur. Darwin
Visit the Botanic Gardens, established 130 years ago, and Fannie Bay. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 2 Fri. Adelaide River, Nabilil Dreaming Sunset Cultural Cruise
Explore the town of Adelaide River, then head to Nitmiluk National Park for the Nabilil Dreaming Sunset Cultural Cruise along Katherine Gorge. Enjoy commentary on local plants and wildlife and a buffet dinner.

Day 3 Sat. Ord River Wildlife Cruise, Lake Argyle, Kununurra
This morning journey to Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the southern hemisphere. From Lake Argyle, join what is reputed to be one of Australia's most scenic and fascinating cruises into the majestic Ord River. As you cruise, admire the peculiar Boab trees and wide variety of birds that can be seen. The river runs for 320 kilometres and was named in honour of Harry Ord, former Governor of Western Australia.

Day 4 Sun. Kununurra
Spend the morning at leisure to discover the sights of Kununurra for yourself. In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the town and learn about the history of this isolated municipality.

Day 5 Mon. Wyndham, El Questro
Travel to Wyndham, Western Australia's most northerly port and see views from Five Rivers Lookout. Afterwards continue to El Questro Wilderness Park, one of the world's most unique holiday destinations, encompassing 405,000 hectares of stunning Kimberley wilderness.

Day 6 Tue. El Questro, Freedom of Choice Touring
Discover El Questro with our Freedom of Choice Touring options. Perhaps cruise Chamberlain Gorge, learn about bush tucker and take a historical tour of the wilderness park, or enjoy a picnic hamper and spend the afternoon at leisure. Afterwards, enjoy a walk through lush Zebedee Springs and maybe soak in the small thermal pools situated in a pocket of tropical Livistona and Pandanus palms. Later, the energetic may walk to Emma Gorge to view the stunning droplet waterfall.

Day 7 Wed. Argyle Diamond Mine
Tour the Argyle Diamond Mine and gain an insight into the operation of the mine - from sorting and processing, to selling these beautiful, polished diamonds around the world. Later this afternoon, continue to Halls Creek.

Day 8 Thur. Geikie Gorge Cruise
Join a local ranger for a guided cruise through Geikie Gorge, famous for its limestone walls which are bleached as the result of seasonal flooding. Later, journey to Fitzroy Crossing.

Day 9 Fri. Fitzroy Crossing, Broome
This morning depart Fitzroy Crossing and travel to Broome. Enjoy the evening at Cable Beach.

Day 10 Sat. Broome, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around Dinner
Today, choose a hovercraft flight over the Roebuck Bay mudflats, the Pearl Lugger museum or a camel ride on Cable Beach. For dinner eat at Thai Pearl or Sunset Bar and Cafe.

Day 11 Sun. Broome, Port Hedland
Travel to Port Hedland, renowned for its turtle and whale-watching, fishing, mining and exportation of iron ore.

Day 12 Mon. Marble Bar, Newman
Tour Port Hedland, then visit Marble Bar, which takes its name from a large bar of striking red jasper that traverses the nearby Coongan River, and is known for its extreme temperatures. Continue to Newman.

Day 13 Tue. Guided Mine Tour, Karijini
In Newman, take a tour of the Mt Whaleback Iron Ore Mine. Discover the Hamersley Range, then visit Fortescue and Dale falls as well as Oxers Lookout for awe-inspiring views.

Day 14 Wed. Hamersley Gorge, Karratha
View stunning Hamersley Gorge, then travel to Karratha - the Pilbara capital.
