Itinerary

Day 1 Tue.
Kununurra
Stay: NEW! Kununurra, Country Club Resort

On arrival in Kununurra transfer to your hotel. Spend the day at your leisure exploring the local township.

Day 2 Wed.
Scenic Flight, Mitchell Plateau, Little Merten Falls, Mitchell Falls, Rock Art
Stay: APT EXCLUSIVE! Ungolan Wilderness Lodge, Mitchell Plateau, in tented cabins with ensuites

Fly into Mitchell Plateau and, after breakfast, enjoy a tour with a local guide. Walk to Little Merten Falls before seeing ancient Aboriginal Gwion (Bradshaw) rock art. Next head to Big Merten and Mitchell falls. Enjoy a swim in Mitchell River. After lunch, perhaps hike out of the falls or take a taxi helicopter flight back to the base.
