Day 2 
Indulge in breakfast in your compartment. On arrival at Proserpine, disembark the train for a memorable day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. Reboard the train late afternoon. A splendid dinner in the Dining Car and perhaps a stroll to the Observation Car for a nightcap mark the end of this exciting day. 

Day 3 
Enjoy breakfast in your compartment as the train begins its ascent up the scenic MacAlister Range to Kuranda. On arrival, transfer to Skyrail for a breath-taking cable car ride above the rainforest treetops before collecting your baggage at the OSPE Pavilion at the Skyrail Terminal at Caravonica Lakes.

KURANDA/CAIRNS TO BRISBANE 

Day 1 
Check in at the GSPE Pavilion adjacent to the Skyrail Terminal at Caravonica Lakes. A dramatic cable car ride above the treetops of the rainforest takes you to Kuranda where the GSPE awaits. Settle in to your beautifully appointed compartment and prepare for cocktails in the Lounge and a sumptuous dinner in the Dining Car. 

Day 2 
The joumey to Brisbane begins with an early morning departure from Kuranda. As the train winds through the scenic MacAlister Range, breakfast is served in your compartment. It is a leisurely day on board as you enjoy the passing scenery of North Queensland. After lunch, a stop is made at the quaint farming town of El Arish, where guests have the opportunity to disembark and explore this typical rural Australian community - and even partake of a beer at the local pub! There is time to enjoy pre-dinner drinks before your day concludes with dinner in the romantic surroundings of the Dining Car. 

Day 3 
Indulge in breakfast in your compartment. On arrival at Proserpine, disembark the train for a memorable day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. Reboard the train late afternoon. A splendid dinner in the Dining Car and perhaps a stroll to the Observation Car for a nightcap mark the end of this exciting day. 

Day 4 
Enjoy breakfast in your compartment as the train rolls south. An elegant lunch is served in the Dining Car before your journey concludes in Brisbane. 

BRISBANE TO SYDNEY (AND VICE VERSA) 

Day 1 
Depart Brisbane or Sydney early afternoon. Tea will he served by your cabin steward while you settle into your compartment. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon as you explore the train and watch the passing scenery from the open Observation Car. The night’s dinner and entertainment will be presented in the Dining and Lounge Cars. 

Day 2 
Breakfast (Brisbane to Sydney) is served in your compartment or a sumptuous Brunch (Sydney to Brisbane) will be served before arrival in Brisbane.
